Recently, at the border crossing "Krakivets", the border guards of Mostyska BG Detachment have processed more than 240 foreigners, who on 20 vehicles travelled from Germany and Poland home, transiting through Ukraine.

Most of them were citizens of the Republic of Moldova, others - Romania. Besides adults, the children also returned home.

At the Ukrainian-Polish border, border guards and representatives of the State Supervision Department for Compliance with the Sanitary Legislation of the State Consumer Service measured the temperature of citizens and conducted surveys on their health. After a set of inspection measures, vehicles with foreigners accompanied by two crews of the National Police of Ukraine headed to the Ukrainian-Moldovan border.

In turn, 23 citizens were able to return to Ukraine from the Republic of Moldova. 21 of them are Ukrainian citizens and two Moldovan citizens with certificates of permanent residence in Ukraine. They arrived in Moldova before the introduction of measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 acute respiratory disease in Ukraine and were unable to return independently.

Officers of the Border Police of the Republic of Moldova provided escort of the bus with the Ukrainians from Chisinau to the joint border crossing point "Palanka-Maiaky-Udobne". At the Palanka BCP, passengers also underwent temperature control. Further, the border guards of Moldova, together with their counterparts from  Bilhorod-Dnistrovsky BG Detachment, performed the registration of citizens, after which passengers boarded the bus provided by the Ukrainian authorities, which headed for Odessa.

This special transportation ensured the return of Ukrainian citizens from Moldova to their homeland with the assistance of the leadership of Ukraine and the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Moldova.

Border guards are grateful to Moldovan colleagues for their cooperation and assistance in organizing citizens' return to Ukraine.

It should be noted that the border guards, within the limits of the given powers, help to return home not only to the citizens of Ukraine, but also do their best so that foreigners can get to their homeland.
